Yes, as if life wasn't exciting enough with 8 kids in 1100 square feet, we though it would be fun to have
all 3 of our websites crash and burn at the same time.
If you're looking for
Life in a Shoe, it's here tonight.
If you're looking for
Frugal Hacks, it's here tonight.
And if you're looking for
Geneva Bible Pages, it's here tonight. (What? You've never heard of Geneva Bible Pages? You simply must check it out...tomorrow...or the next day. Not now.)
See? All the cool people are here tonight, so open a Coke and find a seat. We're frantically emailing
nastygrams inquiries to our former webhost in the hopes that we can retrieve our files and set them up on our new webhost.
On the bright side, we were planning to switch hosts this week anyway. I've heard that a lot of readers are having trouble visiting our sites lately. On the darker side, we're really wishing we had moved
yesterday. I really, really need to work on procrastination. But later - first I've got to work on rebuilding some websites. I'll try to have them up and running tomorrow, though they might not be wearing any lipstick or have their hair properly done.

Rachael is 3, and she was very excited to have her very own pet last week. She had managed to catch herself a wee little moth, who sat very docilely in her hand.
When she was done holding him, she put him in a little container with a lid and carried
that around.
She smiled and chatted all day about her pet, until somebody realized just why the moth had been so easy for her to catch, and why he sat so contentedly on her hand. He was dead. He had been dead when she caught him.
What would you have done? One of her older sisters sweetly and inconspicuously switched out the poor deceased pet with a live one. Wasn't that nice of her?
No. Not at all.
Rachael was NOT happy. Apparently she knew her pet was dead and she wanted it that way. The live ones always get away.

THE CASE FOR PREGNANCY:- I am 17 days late.
- I've been slightly queasy for 3 days. I always get morning sickness, usually even before I realize I'm late.
- I have always been pregnant before the baby reaches The Boy's age. This is already our longest gap.
- I have been eating
like a pig like a horse like a cow more than usual. - I have been noticeably more tired than usual.
- In the past, my suspicions have nearly always been accurate.
THE CASE AGAINST PREGNANCY:- I haven't been regular since The Boy was born.
- I failed a pregnancy test when I was 7 days late (10 days ago).
- Most of my children are sick, so it's entirely possible that my queasiness means I caught their bug.
- I stayed up later than usual several nights last week, which would easily explain my tiredness.
- I have failed at least 7 pregnancy tests in a row.

It's Monday, but I won't tell you how bad my house looks and how many of my children are vomiting and/or feverish, and my suspicion that I am sick too (but my secret hope that I might be pregnant instead, though I can't find out yet because I used every single one of my stockpiled pregnancy tests over the last two weeks).
Instead of whining about all that, I'll just tell you what happened to me last week.
I was sitting at the table, happily typing away on the laptop when I felt The Boy playing with my toes. I giggled and pretended to kick and struggle, squealing, "My toes! Help, he's getting my toes!"
He chuckled maliciously and tickled me even more. The game continued until one of the girls looked under the table and cleared her throat nervously.
"Umm...Mom? He has a marker."
I looked down and here's what I saw:
